![]() ![]() Typically, keypads are programmed the same way as remotes. You may need to press the remote button a set number of times, depending on which manufacturer/model of opener you have. Consult the remote’s instructions for specifics. I still think I must have messed something up when I changed the black connector along with the wires(which I didn't completely remove, just connected the new wire to the old wire, the original connection to the keypad's board is still there. Press the Learn/Program button on the opener, then press the button on the universal remote. But please note we had this for years, no problem with the one button close feature before. Possible the app someone interferes with the keypad? This app required us to install a senor and modem/router like device. This app allows us to close/open/and view the history of the garage door while giving us an alert whenever it is opened. However it appears when I add back the other openers, the keypad no longer wants to keep the one button close feature? Any ideas? After this I reprogrammed the keypad, and I was able to get the one button close feature working. ![]() So I reset the garage opener itself(the actual motor) to erase all memory of the keypad and those garage openers you keep inside your car. Unfortunately this did not work after many attempts. All I had to do was press "1" and "9" at the same time and wait till the keypad lights blinks twice, indicating the "one button close" feature is activated. ![]()
